Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout & Pay' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card and debit payment. We do NOT accept ELECTRON cards or AMEX
We accept Visa and Mastercard, Switch, Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling
We charge a set fee of £3.95 per order, no matter how much you order and to anywhere in mainland UK.

STANDARD DELIVERY £3.95 + vat
Orders are sent using 1st class post and most normally arrive within 3-5 days (however this service is not guaranteed and could take upto 10 days in some areas), larger orders are sent using standard parcel delivery and should be received within 5 working days, and a signature will be required. If an item has become out of stock we will contact you at the earliest moment.
URGENT DELIVERIES £8.50 + vat
For a more urgent delivery service we can provide URGENT DELIVERY which will cost £8.50 for UK orders. We aim to dispatch urgent orders as soon as possible and will use a guaranteed FAST delivery service (normally 1 day) and ensure your order is tracked throughout, a signature will be required on delivery, or your parcel can be collected from your local Royal Mail sorting office or post office
PARCELFORCE £6.00 + vat ( at Halloween only )
This service is for Halloween orders over 2KG .This service is only available to home and work addresses within mainland UK, a signature will be required on delivery. If you are not in to receive the order, you can re-arrange the delivery to a more suitable day via the Parcelforce website. After 2 failed attempts the parcel is returned to us, you will then need to pay the postage again if you want the parcel re-sent.
NON UK MAINLAND (over2 KG) £15.00 + vat
We use Parcelforce for this service and includes the following postcodes :
BT , IM , TR21-TR22 , GY & JE, HS1-9, IV, KA27-28, KW1-3, KW5-17, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-50 & ZE
LOCAL PICK UP (Free)
This service is available to customers who would rather collect from our Witney store. You will be contacted when your order is ready for collection.

SATURDAY DELIVERIES £14.50 + vat (please call us to arrange this service)
We can now deliver on Saturday to most UK addresses, this service is only available to orders weighing under 2kg and will cost £14.50, a signature will be required on delivery.To use this service simply select 'Saturday Delivery' on the order process, YOU THEN NEED TO CALL US. If using this service please call us after you have made the order.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
All International / Europe orders will now be accepted.
The minimum postage for international orders is £15 + vat, we will inform you if there is any addional costs, you can then accept the extra charges or cancel your order if you wish. This delivery service can take about 7 days but may take upto 28 days, for a faster service please e-mail us for a price, most can be delivered worldwide in about 2-3 days.
A parcel may incur Import Duties if delivery is made outside of the EU Member States. It is not the responsibility of The Laughing Stock to pay such fees and any duties due to any country outside of the EU must be borne by the customer at arrival to their destination country.

Returns Policy
If you don't like it , it doesn't fit or you just dont want it , send it back unused within 7 days to the address at the top of your invoice . Simple as that ! ! We will refund the cost of the item no questions asked, however we do not refund any postage fees.
(Please note : Due to hygiene purposes we do not accept returns for items such as masks, wigs and hats)

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm . You have the right to cancel within 7 days of receiving your order. You must contact THE LAUGHING STOCK with e-mail or phone within the 7 day period. We will refund any item [excluding postage & packaging paid by The Laughing Stock] that is unused or unworn and is in its original packaging. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange and pay for the return of the cancelled order, using Royal Mail registered post. |
